FAQ

WHAT IS NFT?

An NFT is a Non-Fungible Token. A token is a "key" that is being created by the artist and is attached to a digital file. With that token the artist and the collector can prove ownership, show value and owner history of a piece what makes it similar to the physical art market. There are several platforms where you can purchase NFTs to collect or resell them.

Imagine the original painting Mona Lisa. We know there is this one original Mona Lisa. You can take a photo of it, post it to Instagram and it will be worth not a penny. But if you would own the original painting it's worth millions. The same goes for original NFTs.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

For me as a Digital Artist there is one original digital file that I created and sits on my computer. When I post it to Instagram the image gets shared thousands of times and people don't know the owner of the image. The value of Digital Art pieces and digital files has also always been different than physical art pieces like paintings for example. This is changing now.

NFTs will be the future of collecting digital goods. There are also auction houses like Sotheby's or Christie's starting to collect NFTs. An NFT digital art collection was sold for a whopping $777.777.

WHAT AM I COLLECTING?

You have the chance to own a unique piece of digital art including the digital NFT on the blockchain that proves your ownership plus a special physical token.

Via QR-Code - that's engraved on a metal plate sitting on your physical piece - you are always able to view your NFT and download your wallpaper.

CAN I SELL THE PHYSICAL NFT SEPARATE FROM THE DIGITAL NFT?

You could sell both pieces separate from each other but I totally wouldn't recommend doing so since it probably would make both the NFT as well as the physical token less valuable.

WHAT IF I RECEIVE A DAMAGED PHYSICAL PIECE?

Please send an email to contact@nois7.com to get in touch with me personally and I will send you a package return label to return the damaged physical piece including all original box items.

Once I receive the damaged physical piece, I will ship out your new piece with your edition #.
